Dental Assistant has many tasks in the field of dentistry. From helping
the dentist with patients, to wroking in the office, and perhaps even
lab work. Being a Dental Assistant will give you the opportunity to learn
the tools of the trade, quite literally. Dental Assistants may have to
make molds, clean teeth, and work on keeping the patient comfortable.
Those who are working in the office may be setting up appointments, reminding
patients of when they're due in, and keeping records for the dentist.
As for lab work, a Dental Assistant could be making molds for the mouth
or teeth, or preparing temporary crowns.
Dental Assistants need to be well equipped in the dental world. Although
an upincoming Dental Assistant may have to labour through quite a bit
of extra schooling in college or university, the pay off should be well
worth the work. Both in pay and job satisfaction.
