Set high up on the cliff overlooking the Ocean this beautiful Parador is a must stay, the old spanish colonial decor, the lovely gardens, lovely pool area. The restaurant is very good but a little expensive. You can walk down to San Sebastion in 10 mins, it is quite steep and you will need to get a taxi back (5 euro) unless you are very fit. If you have never stayed at a Parador before, and they are very expensive on mainland Spain, splash out for at least two nights here. There are great deals to be had for 20 -35 year olds and also special promotions for over 55s.
we spent three days with my girlfriend in meteora,it was our first time in the area.As soon as we reached Kalambaka i called the hotel to ask information how can we approach it.The man who answered the phone,Mr Thanasis(hotel owner) was very polite and goodwilling to help us,that he came with his own car to pick up us and lead us to the hotel. This was our first good impression of him.The hotel was clean and we got whatever we wanted. It also provide to its customers, free parking just outside the entrance and free internet access!! The view from our balcony was really breathtaking.Just under the shadow of Meteora rocks. We enjoyed every time we spent there. Its wooden furniture was directly from Indonesia(Bali) and was really beautiful. Its breakfast was very tasty and never closed. This was an important detail besause we did not have to wake up early in the morning.Because it was our first time in Meteora we needed some info about the area and its sightseeings and amenities.Mr Thanasis gave us all the required maps and suggested us how to organise our trip.We really appreciated this and finally we were very satisfied. In conclusion, when the time to leave has arrived for us,Mr Thanasis gave us some wooden pictures from his collection from Bali as a gift.Honestly,i have travelled a lot but nowhere i met such a kind hotel owner.Undoubtedly,if someone wants to visit Meteora this hotel shoul be his first choice of staying.
It is beautiful all year round, romantic, gothic and baroque simultaneously - so it receives, along with Paris, the most visited in Europe. And because almost all have said about it, enjoy the extensive guide selected addresses publishing
It is very strange how this town causes a certain feeling, even the tourist who visits for the first time: that of nostalgia. It's strange, because supposed to lament something should ever have to live, feel and love (or hate). Here, however, nostalgia is born for the city, as you walk for the first time for you to foreign streets. The reasons for the "birth" of this emotion can hide a single fact: Prague is perhaps the only city in Europe (if not the world) that looks like a huge museum and the museum is eminently residence memory.
This living museum has one additional peculiarity. The details of t
